Norma Oliason, partner and client manager, co-founded King & Oliason in 1990. Norma has over 30 years of experience in income and estate tax planning for high net worth individuals. Her practice includes planning and compliance for closely held businesses, family partnerships, estates, and trusts. She assists clients with philanthropy planning through the use of charitable trusts, private foundations, and outright gifts.
Norma received her undergraduate degree from Washington State University in 1982 and worked for a national accounting firm until 1990. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Rick joined King & Oliason in 2008. His nearly twenty years of experience in income tax compliance and consulting encompasses work for individuals, trusts, partnerships, corporations and private foundations. He has special expertise in planning for wealth transfer, estates and trusts, charitable giving, formation and operation of family limited liability companies and valuation issues. Rick has a B.A. in Accounting from Northwestern College, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Seattle Estate Planning Council.

Karol E. King co-founded King & Oliason in 1990 after working for a national accounting firm. Karol has over 30 years of experience specializing in income and estate tax planning and compliance. Karol has served high net worth individuals and their related trusts, foundations, and closely held businesses. In addition, she has worked with real estate and service partnerships and LLCs, and professional service corporations. Karol received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and her Master of Tax degree from DePaul University in Chicago. Karol is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Donita Pittis has worked with both national and regional CPA firms. She joined King & Oliason in 1993. In addition to providing tax services to our individual clients, she works with closely-held businesses, partnerships, trusts, and estates. Donita has a B.A. in Accounting, with a minor in Business, from Western Washington University.

Colleen has a Master degree in Taxation and a B.A. in Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Washington.
Barb joined King & Oliason more than twenty years ago, after four years with a national accounting firm. She provides tax consulting and compliance services to a broad range of clients with an emphasis on high net worth individuals, estates, trusts, and private foundations. She has a B.A. in Business Administration, Accounting from the University of Washington.
